Job summary

Xantheng (Subic) International Corporation is seeking an HR Generalist to manage HR operations, recruitment, payroll, and compliance. The role requires 1–3 years of HR experience and a degree in HRM or related fields.

You will liaise with government agencies (DOLE, SBMA) and ensure HR processes are compliant, confidential, and efficient while supporting a growing team in the Philippines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR-related field.
  • 1–3 years HR experience, with general HR duties.
  • Solid knowledge of Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regulations, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with SBMA policies is a plus.
  • End-to-end recruitment, onboarding, performance mgmt, discipline, and off-boarding experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll, timekeeping, compensation and benefits, and HR docs.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with multitasking and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS/payroll systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism around confidential info.
  • Willing to represent the company in meetings with government agencies (DOLE, SBMA, etc.).
  • CHRA/CHRP or equivalent certification is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full spectrum HR operations, including policy implementation, compliance, and workforce administration.
  • Maintain and safeguard employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
  • Serve as primary contact for all HR-related concerns.
  • Coordinate across all levels to ensure alignment of tasks and workflow.
  • Address grievances and disciplinary actions; conduct investigations as needed.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide management recommendations.
  • Oversee payroll processes, including timekeeping and salary adjustments.
  • Implement employee engagement, training, and career development initiatives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals.
  • Manage off-boarding, exit interviews, and clearances.
  • Ensure legal compliance with DOLE, SBMA, and labor laws; participate in inspections.
  • Provide strategic HR insights to management for planning.
  • Represent the company in HR meetings and government consultations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS


  1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or any related field.

  2. One (1) to Three (3) years of relevant work experience in Human Resources, preferably handling general HR functions, recruitment, employee relations, payroll administration, and labor compliance.

  3. Solid knowledge of Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regulations, and other employment-related laws and government compliance requirements.

  4. Familiarity with SBMA policies, procedures, locator transactions, and regulatory requirements is an advantage.

  5. Experience in end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee discipline, and off-boarding processes.

  6. Knowledge of payroll administration, timekeeping, compensation and benefits, and HR documentation.

  7. Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  8. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS or payroll systems is an advantage.

  10. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.

  11. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain professionalism in handling confidential information.

  12. Willing to represent the Company in meetings, seminars, inspections, and coordination with government agencies such as DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, and SBMA.

  13. Possesses a high level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to delivering quality HR services.

  14. Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA), Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), or equivalent HR certification is an advantage but not required.



RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Manage the full spectrum of HR operations, including policy implementation, compliance, and workforce administration.

  2. Maintain and safeguard employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.

  3. Handle end-to-end recruitment, from job posting to onboarding.

  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related concerns.

  5. Maintain direct coordination and effective communication with all employees across all levels of the organization to ensure alignment of tasks, smooth workflow, and efficient execution of responsibilities.

  6. Address employee grievances, workplace disputes, and recommend disciplinary measures when necessary.

  7. Conduct investigations, prepare HR reports, and provide recommendations to management.

  8. Oversee payroll-related processes, including preparation of timekeeping, salary adjustments, incentives, and bonuses.

  9. Implement employee engagement programs, training, and career development initiatives.

  10. Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals.

  11. Manage off-boarding procedures, including exit interviews and clearances.

  12. Ensure compliance with DOLE, SBMA, and labor laws, including participation in inspections or audits.

  13. Provide strategic HR insights and recommendations to management for organizational planning.

  14. Represent the company in HR-related meetings, seminars, and government consultations.

  15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management to support ongoing operations.
