Landers in Metro Manila is seeking a seasoned Compensation & Benefits Specialist to lead reward programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with HRBPs to optimize pay practices.

Responsibilities include refining compensation strategy, managing benefits programs, conducting payroll reviews, and preparing reports for senior management. The role requires data-driven decision making and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

  • Holds a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years C&B experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel (e.g. Pivot, Vlookup, Nested Ifs).
  • Must have good communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management.
  • Expert in HRIS, Project Management Systems, and similar HR Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HRBPs and stakeholders to develop and refine the organization's compensation strategy.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and business units to align compensation practices with company goals.
  • Ensure pay practices comply with state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Administer organization’s benefits programs (e.g. leave policies, insurance policies).
  • Research and analyze benefits plans, programs, and policies; make data-driven recommendations.
  • Monitor government regulations, legislation, and benefits trends.
  • Manage enrollment, renewal, and distribution processes for benefits.
  • Conduct payroll reviews to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Stay current on labor laws, regulations, reporting obligations, and audits including tax filings.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on compensation and benefits metrics to senior management.
  • Utilize data analysis to derive insights and identify improvements in the total rewards program.

KEY RESULT AREAS (KRA)
Compensation:
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and internal stakeholders to develop and refine the organization's compensation strategy, taking into consideration market data, financial constraints, and organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and business units to align compensation practices with the company's goals.
  • Ensuring that the pay practices comply with state and federal laws and regulations.
Benefits Management
  • Administering the organization’s benefits programs (e.g. leave policies, insurance policies, etc.).
  • Researching and analyzing benefits plans, programs, and policies.
  • Making recommendations based on data analyses.
  • Monitoring government regulations, legislation, and benefits trends.
  • Working with insurance brokers and benefits careers.
  • Managing the enrollment, renewal, and distributionprocesses.
Payroll Review
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of the payroll register to ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll adjustments, one‑time payments, etc.
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to resolve any discrepancies, errors, or issues promptly.
Compliance and Reporting
  • Stay current on labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements, reporting obligations, and audits, including tax annualization and BIR 2316 filing.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on compensation and benefits metrics to senior management.
Data Analysis
  • Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to derive actionable insights from compensation and benefits data.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement in the total rewards program.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Background:

Holds a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or any related field or equivalent knowledge and understanding

Work Experience

Minimum of 3 years C&B experience

Knowledge and Skills

Proficient in using Microsoft Office Excel(e.g. Pivot, Vlookup, Nested Ifs, etc.) is preferred

Must have good communication, problem solving and analytical skills

Effective stakeholder management

Expert in HRIS, Project Management Systems, and similar Human Resource Systems
