Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and updating employee handbook and disciplinary procedures
  • Provide guidance to managers on proper handling of employee infractions
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all employee relations and disciplinary cases
  • Prepare incident reports, case summaries, and documentation for legal compliance
  • Track trends in employee issues and recommend preventive measures
  • Conduct training for supervisors and managers on employee relations, discipline, and due process
  • Coach leaders on conflict management and proper documentation
  • Educate employees on company policies, workplace behavior, and grievance procedures
  • Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Management on complex cases
  • Represent HR in administrative hearings and case discussions
  • Liaise with government agencies when necessary (e.g., DOLE-related concerns)

Job Summary

The HR Supervisor – Employee Relations & Discipline is responsible for maintaining a positive work environment by managing employee concerns, enforcing company policies, and ensuring proper handling of disciplinary cases. This role oversees investigations, grievance handling, and compliance with labor laws while promoting fairness, consistency, and organizational integrity.


Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Relations Management


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues

  • Promote a positive employee experience through proactive engagement and conflict resolution

  • Conduct regular employee check-ins, pulse surveys, and feedback sessions

  • Partner with department heads to address morale, engagement, and retention issues


2. Discipline & Case Management


  • Handle end-to-end disciplinary processes (NTE, administrative hearing, decision, documentation)

  • Ensure due process is strictly followed in all employee cases

  • Investigate incidents involving misconduct, policy violations, and behavioral issues

  • Recommend appropriate disciplinary actions aligned with company policy and precedent


3. Policy Implementation & Compliance


  • Enforce company Code of Conduct and disciplinary policies

  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies

  • Assist in reviewing and updating employee handbook and disciplinary procedures

  • Provide guidance to managers on proper handling of employee infractions


4. Documentation & Reporting


  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all employee relations and disciplinary cases

  • Prepare incident reports, case summaries, and documentation for legal compliance

5. Training & Advisory
