Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with exposure to multiple HR functions.
  • Strong experience in employee relations, recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, and HR operations.
  • Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience handling employee disciplinary cases and sensitive workplace concerns is highly preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, and employee records management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with management and employees.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Handle employee concerns, grievances, workplace issues, and disciplinary matters in a fair, professional, and timely manner.
  • Provide guidance to employees and department heads regarding Company policies, procedures, and workplace standards.
  • Assist in investigations, documentation, and resolution of employee relations cases.
  • Prepare and facilitate HR documentation such as Notices to Explain (NTE), Notices of Decision (NOD), written warnings, memoranda, and other employee-related communications.
  • Promote positive employee relations and a professional workplace culture.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Oversee payroll-related HR information, benefits, leaves, attendance, overtime, and other compensation matters.

Job description

2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Manage and support the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers regarding manpower requirements, job descriptions, candidate qualifications, and hiring recommendations.
  • Conduct initial interviews and candidate assessments.
  • Source candidates through appropriate recruitment channels and maintain an active talent pipeline.
  • Prepare recruitment reports and monitor hiring progress, time-to-fill, and other recruitment metrics.
  • Ensure proper completion of pre-employment requirements and onboarding documentation.
  • Oversee and/or support the accurate and timely administration of payroll-related HR information, employee benefits, leaves, attendance, overtime, and other compensation matters.
  • Coordinate with payroll and relevant departments regarding employee compensation concerns and adjustments.
  • Ensure proper administration of government-mandated benefits and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in salary reviews, compensation benchmarking, and preparation of compensation recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records related to compensation and benefits.
4. Performance Management
  • Support the implementation and administration of the Company's performance management system.
  • Coordinate performance evaluations, probationary assessments, regularization, and performance improvement processes.
  • Work with department heads to ensure performance standards and expectations are properly communicated and documented.
  • Monitor completion of performance reviews and assist managers in addressing performance concerns.
5. HR Policies, Compliance & Labor Relations
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are properly implemented and consistently applied.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable Philippine labor laws, employment regulations, and government requirements.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating the Employee Handbook, HR policies, forms, and procedures.
  • Maintain proper documentation for employee relations and labor-related cases.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel or government agencies when necessary and as authorized by management.
  • Provide management with HR-related recommendations and risk considerations.
6. HR Operations & Records Management
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of employee records, HRIS data, personnel files, and other HR documentation.
  • Monitor employee movements including hiring, promotion, transfer, regularization, leave, resignation, and separation.
  • Oversee proper implementation of onboarding and offboarding procedures.
  • Coordinate clearance and final pay processes with concerned departments.
  • Generate and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and workforce data for management review.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee information.
7. HR Advisory & Business Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to department heads and employees.
  • Provide practical HR guidance on staffing, employee performance, workplace concerns, and policy implementation.
  • Identify HR and organizational issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Participate in workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
  • Support management in implementing organizational changes and people-related programs.
8. HR Team Leadership & Process Improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to HR Officers, HR Associates, and other HR team members.
  • Review HR processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.
  • Assist in establishing HR service standards, workflows, and internal controls.
  • Monitor the quality and timeliness of HR deliverables.
  • Lead or participate in HR projects and special assignments as directed by management.
