People Development Officer (PDO)
The People Development Officer (PDO) will focus on helping the RG Med Executive Office secure and develop personnel who can provide for its various strategic and operational needs. This role focuses primarily on Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Results Management, and Disciplinary Oversight.
The PDO will be reporting directly to the Executive Office, and will take over functions performed by the Human Resources Department which require urgent and highly-focused attention.
Primary Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires.
- Ensure hiring decisions are made with long-term talent development and organizational needs in mind.
Employee Relations & Discipline
- Enforce disciplinary policies consistently across the organization, addressing issues promptly and in accordance with legal standards.
- Handle employee grievances with a balanced approach, ensuring both fairness and adherence to labor laws.
Performance Management & Talent Development
- Lead performance appraisals, ensuring that KPIs are met and that talent development plans are in place for key positions.
- Drive training programs to support employee growth, retention, and company objectives.
Secondary Responsibilities
The Human Resources Department may occasionally request for assistance from the Executive Office on the following matters:
Compensation & Benefits Administration
- Supervise payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement of employee salaries.
- Manage benefits administration, including leave entitlements, health insurance, and employee welfare programs.
Labor Law Compliance
- Ensure all HR policies comply with local labor laws, including monitoring of employment contracts, working conditions, and employee rights.
- Stay updated on new labor legislation and regulations, advising leadership on necessary adjustments.
HR Documentation & Reporting
- Establish and maintain accurate employee records, contracts, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare timely reports on HR activities, including recruitment, retention, turnover, and disciplinary trends.
Employer Branding & Employee Engagement
- Strengthen employer branding by ensuring professional, positive interactions across all employee touchpoints, from recruitment to offboarding.
- Organize engagement programs to enhance company culture and employee satisfaction.
