HERB FOOD SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking an HR Generalist in Talisay City, Cebu. This full-time role covers recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management to support our people strategy and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will handle end-to-end HR processes, maintain records, and contribute to positive workplace culture while enabling professional development and payroll coordination.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, BA, or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in a generalist HR role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and labour relations.
• Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office.

About the Role

We are seeking an HR Generalist to join the Human Resources team at HERB FOOD SOLUTIONS INC. in Talisay City, Cebu. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation's people strategy and employee relations. As an HR Generalist, you will serve as a pivotal link between management and employees, playing an essential role in building a positive workplace culture whilst ensuring compliance with employment regulations and company policies. This role encompasses the full spectrum of human resources functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring coordination

• Conduct employee onboarding and orientation programmes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organisation

• Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, grievance management, and disciplinary procedures

• Administer compensation and benefits programmes, including payroll coordination and benefits eligibility verification

• Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation in compliance with data protection regulations

• Support performance management processes, including appraisals, goal setting, and development planning

• Conduct training needs assessments and coordinate professional development and training programmes

• Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and company policies across all HR functions

• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture

• Prepare HR reports and analytics to support strategic decision-making by senior management

• Assist with industrial relations matters and support management in maintaining positive employee-employer relationships

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a generalist HR role or similar human resources position

• Strong knowledge of employment law, labour relations, and industry-specific regulations relevant to the food services sector

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels

• Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications

• Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion

• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving HR challenges

• Experience in industrial and employee relations, particularly in managing workplace disputes or negotiations (preferred)

• Knowledge of food safety standards and occupational health and safety requirements (advantageous)
