The Abaca Group Inc. is seeking an HR Coordinator based at our Metro Manila Business Unit to serve as the on-site HR representative. The role supports Employee Relations, Recruitment, and Compensation & Benefits, coordinating with the Central HR Team in Cebu City.
You will support HR processes, maintain confidential records, facilitate payroll-related tasks, and assist with policy communication. On-site work in Metro Manila is required and fresh graduates with internship experience may apply.
About the role
We are looking for an HR Coordinator who will be based at our Metro Manila Business Unit and serve as the on-site HR representative. The position will provide administrative and coordination support across Employee Relations, Recruitment, and Compensation & Benefits. While working closely with the Business Unit management and employees, the HR Coordinator will functionally report to and coordinate HR activities with the Central HR Team based in Cebu City.
Key responsibilities
Provide administrative support for employee relations cases, including documentation, records, and coordination of HR meetings
Assist in preparing notices, incident documentation, and other HR-related correspondence
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and case files
Coordinate with employees and management regarding HR processes and requirements
Support the implementation and communication of company policies and procedures
Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and candidate coordination
Coordinate with hiring managers regarding manpower requirements and recruitment updates
Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers
Provide administrative support for payroll and employee benefits-related processes
Assist in monitoring attendance, leave, and other employee records required for payroll processing
About you
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in HR, particularly in recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, or HR administration
Fresh graduates with relevant internship/OJT experience may also be considered
Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR practices is an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Willing to work on-site in Metro Manila
