Job Description
- The HR Specialist is primary responsible for giving support assistance to all the functions of the HR Department.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Conducts new hire orientation on payroll and benefits, ensuring that internal employees are aware of the payroll processing schedule and guidelines, as well as the company benefits eligibility and availment procedures.
- Setup Payroll related and contributions within the company\'s payroll system.
- Prepare Last pay and Separation pay computation for HR supervisor checking.
- Assist in the disbursement of Final Salary and Termination Benefits.
- Process ATM of newly hired employees and coordinate with the bank.
- Coordinate with accounting in opening and closing of payroll account.
- Check documents uploaded in the system by Recruitment such as JO, Employment Contract, PDS for payroll purposes.
- Update employee profile in payroll system.
- Prepare Certificate of Employment.
- Process government-mandated remittances, including posting, payment, and monitoring (e.g., SSS, PAGIBIG, PHILHEALTH).
- Government reporting of new hires in all government agencies, as required.
- Monitor and ensure timely remittance payments and postings.
- Secure clearance certificates from relevant government agencies.
- Represent the company in dealings with government agencies concerning compensation and benefits.
- Regularly check and update information from government agency portals.
- Prepare the computation and process for payment of benefits (e.g., SSS Sickness Benefit, SSS / EC Accident related, SSS Maternity Benefit).
- Prepare employee certificates such as SSS Contributions, SSS Loan Payments, PhilHealth Contributions, Pag-IBIG Contributions for housing/multi-purpose loan, Pag-IBIG Loan Payments, Certificate of Employment.
- Update the system based on employee movement that affects Time and Labor, Core HR and related modules.
- Prepare announcements for payroll release and issuance of salary slips.
- Administer HMO reporting of enrollees and resigned members; coordinate with the HMO provider for benefits claims and renewal evaluations.
- Certification of government loan applications for internal employees (manual and online).
- Assist new employees in the continuation of loan payments from their previous employer.
- Prepare Personnel Action Memo for Regularization, Salary Increase and other movements for checking by HR Supervisor.
- Assist in Payroll & Timekeeping.
- Other duties as assigned related to the position of HR Specialist.
Qualifications
- Holder of a degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field.
- At least 1 year experience in processing government-mandated benefits (SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth, etc.).
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a Human Resources department.
Working Location: On-site in Makati.
