Job summary

Manila Bankers Assurance is seeking a seasoned leader to head group sales and business development. You will oversee a team, drive strategies with brokers, agents, and corporate clients, and align targets with the company's growth goals.

A strong track record in sales leadership and insurance, plus excellent negotiation and relationship management, is required. This role is based in Makati and offers a path to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 5-10 years in a managerial or department head capacity, preferably in sales, business development, or insurance.
• Strong commercial understanding, business development and sales skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the team's group sales and business development activities.
• Develop new business opportunities through direct sales, brokers, agents, and corporate clients.
• Set sales objectives and strategies aligned with the company's Business Development goals.
• Monitor premium production, sales activities, and performance against targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, brokers, and agents.
• Prepare costing sheets, proposals, and presentations for group insurance accounts.
• Conduct client calls, broker visitations, and business meetings to discuss proposals and existing accounts.
• Support brokers and agents during client negotiations and account development.
• Guide and support Junior Account Executives in client presentations and negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient servicing and management of accounts.
