Job summary

Gate 1 Travel seeks a Learning and Development Officer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-wide training programs spanning onboarding, compliance, and leadership development. You will partner with leaders and SMEs to tailor content for a global, distributed workforce and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across locations.

This role reports to the Director, Human Resources and requires expertise in instructional design, virtual training, and LMS administration.

Qualifications

4–5 years in corporate training or instructional design
Experience in compliance training and leadership development content
Experience presenting to large groups
Experience in travel or hospitality industry preferred
Prior experience in a remote role required
Hands-on Absorb LMS administration and Articulate 360 course building preferred

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end design, development, and delivery of company-wide training programs, including onboarding and skill-building.
Partner with department leaders and SMEs to identify training needs and provide instructional design guidance.
Design and facilitate virtual instructor-led training and self-paced e-learning for diverse audiences.
Administer the Absorb LMS platform, including course publishing, enrollment, records, completion tracking, and reporting.
Lead the virtual onboarding experience for new employees in a distributed workforce.
Measure and analyze training effectiveness using LMS analytics and learner feedback.
