We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Global Forwarding Business Development Manager to join our team. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our international freight forwarding business by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in freight forwarding, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing business strategies.
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our international freight forwarding business.
Identify new market opportunities and potential clients through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, freight forwarders, carriers, and other key stakeholders.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business and retain existing clients.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure efficient and timely execution of freight forwarding services.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Has 5-10 years experience in international freight forwarding
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the international freight forwarding industry.
In-depth knowledge of international trade, customs regulations, transportation modes, and logistics operations.
Strong network of contacts within the freight forwarding industry, including clients, carriers, and industry associations.
