Job summary

RemotePass seeks a Financial Controller to own the financial close, reporting, and compliance across entities worldwide. You will oversee intercompany accounting, tax filings, and audits, ensuring strong controls and accurate financial statements in a fast-growing, remote-first environment.

You will manage multi-currency consolidations, build robust processes, and mentor a team of accountants and analysts, partnering with auditors and finance leads across time zones.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in accounting/finance with multi-entity consolidation.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• CPA or ACCA qualification.
• Experience closing books across jurisdictions and currencies.
• Strong IFRS and/or US GAAP knowledge; local GAAP variances a plus.
• Intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and consolidation experience.
• Proficiency with ERP and consolidation software.
• Excellent attention to detail with strategic mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close across all entities.
• Oversee AR/AP, intercompany reconciliations, and transfer pricing docs.
• Manage statutory financial statements and coordinate audits/tax filings.
• Build internal controls aligned with GAAP/IFRS.
• Maintain tax, filing, and licensing obligations across entities.
• Serve as main contact for external auditors and tax advisors.
• Drive standardization and automation of finance processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Mentor a growing team of accountants and finance analysts.
