Job summary

Remote Staff, INC. is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to join our remote, part-time finance team. You will perform high-volume reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and period-end close tasks for multiple entities with IFRS alignment.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong data integrity, and effective communication with regional HQ via MS Teams. Flexible hours and home-based setup offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of accounting and balance sheet reconciliation experience.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and ledger integrity.
• Experience with intercompany reconciliations and AR/AP processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume, complex backend reconciliations for multi-entity schedules.
• Investigate and resolve GL variances and ledger discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries for adjustments and misallocations.
• Conduct intercompany reconciliations across Caribbean group entities.
• Audit AP docs against POs and supporting files prior to payment entry.
• Maintain audit-ready balance sheet schedules aligned with IFRS.
• Collaborate with regional HQ via MS Teams and email on findings.
• Support period-end closures with deadline-driven task updates.
• Organize schedules and ledgers in response to audit requests.
• Monitor seasonal transaction cycles to prevent backlogs.
