About the role

Brookside Manpower Services is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Front of the House professional to join our hospitality team in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As the face of our establishment, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy. This role is essential to our success, as you will directly influence guest satisfaction, loyalty and our reputation within the hospitality industry.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and ensuring they feel welcomed and valued

• Managing table reservations and seating arrangements to optimise guest comfort and flow

• Taking accurate food and beverage orders whilst providing knowledgeable recommendations

• Serving food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to established service standards

• Checking in regularly with guests to ensure satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly

• Processing payments accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems

• Maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and presentation in dining areas

• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery

• Handling guest complaints with empathy and finding appropriate resolutions

• Following food safety and hygiene regulations at all times

• Assisting with setup and breakdown of dining areas as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a waiting or front-of-house role within a hospitality setting

• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and digital ordering platforms

• Physical stamina to remain on your feet for extended periods and ability to carry trays and serve guests

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

• A professional appearance and commitment to maintaining high grooming standards

• Problem-solving abilities and emotional intelligence when dealing with challenging situations

• Preferred: Certification in food safety or hospitality service training

• Preferred: Fluency in multiple languages to better serve our diverse clientele
