Job summary

Brookside Manpower Services in Parañaque City, Metro Manila, is seeking an experienced Busser to join our front office and guest services team. This full-time role focuses on maintaining a clean, welcoming dining area and supporting servers to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience.

The ideal candidate has previous busser or front-of-house dining experience, strong attention to detail, stamina to stand long shifts, and excellent English and Filipino communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Busser or in a similar front-of-house dining role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Punctuality and reliability with a professional work ethic.
• Knowledge of proper food and beverage service standards and safety protocols.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English and Filipino; additional languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables promptly and efficiently between guests, ensuring all tableware, glassware and napkins are removed and replaced.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area throughout service, including sweeping, wiping tables and restocking supplies.
• Transport soiled dishes, glassware and cutlery to the dishwashing area in a safe and organised manner.
• Assist in setting up tables prior to service with appropriate place settings, napkins, and condiments.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items such as napkins, water refills or utensils.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour with guests and team members at all times.
• Follow food and beverage service standards and hygiene protocols established by the establishment.
• Support servers and kitchen staff by ensuring smooth service flow and timely table turnover.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage or hazards to management immediately.

About the role
