Job summary

Offshore Business Processing is seeking an experienced AOG operations professional to manage end-to-end time-critical shipments and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders. The role emphasizes adherence to airfreight regulations, SOPs, and high responsiveness to client needs.

You will handle customer AOG requests, advise on restrictions, and lead front-line operations to ensure timely, cost-efficient deliveries while maintaining the highest service standards.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years' experience in airfreight, with exposure to international freight forwarding operations (export and import).
• Expert-level knowledge of international air transport regulations, including Incoterms, customs rules, and compliance requirements.
• Full mastery of time-critical operations, particularly AOG/aerospace shipments.
• Proven managerial and coordination skills, able to lead and support front-line AOG operations.
• Strong sense of responsibility, rigor, and attention to detail in decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on weather, geo-political, and trade compliance restrictions.
• Find suitable solutions for customer requests and negotiate with suppliers.
• Contribute to cost optimization while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction.
• Resolve operational issues promptly and adhere to SOPs.
• Supervise end-to-end AOG shipments, including spot quotations and coordination.
• Monitor shipments proactively and provide timely updates to ensure visibility across client systems.

Responsibilities

Customer Relation Key Outcomes:

• Answer & handle customer AOG requests
• Advise the customer on potential restrictions (Weather/Geo-Political/Trade Compliance/etc…)
• Find suitable solutions for customer requests
• Contribute to cost optimization while maintaining high levels of operational quality and customer satisfaction
• Resolve operational issues promptly
• Adhere to client-specific operational procedures (SOP)
• Negotiate with suppliers

Operational Key Outcomes:

• Manage end-to-end AOG shipments, including spot quotations, customer coordination, and end-to-end shipment processing
• Monitor shipments proactively, manage deviations, and provide timely updates to ensure visibility across client's systems
• Maintain constant communication with all parties involved
• Supervise the activity

Requirements

• 3-4 years' experience in airfreight, with strong exposure to international freight forwarding operations - both export and import
• Expert-level knowledge of international air transport regulations, including Incoterms, customs rules, and compliance requirements
• Full mastery of the specificities of time-critical operations, particularly in AOG/Aerospace shipments
• Proven managerial and coordination skills, with the ability to lead, guide, and support front-line AOG operations
• Strong sense of responsibility, rigor, attention to details, and discipline in decision-making and issue resolution
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset, enabling effective coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders
• High stress resistance, with the ability to remain effective in escalated and time-sensitive situations
• Business-level English proficiency (spoken, written, and reading). Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, suitable for client escalation management
• Strong customer service orientation (internal and external), consistently projecting a positive and professional brand image
• Strict adherence to procedures, service organization, schedules, break times, and holidays
• Consistent compliance with company Quality, Hygiene, and Safety standards
• High organizational capability, with demonstrated reactivity and proactivity in operational execution
• Working knowledge of relevant computer and operational tools.
• Availability for 24/7/365 shift-based operations, including public holidays, in line with AOG service requirements
