Job summary

E-GMP INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION in the Philippines seeks a Laboratory Analyst to perform juice analyses (Brix, pH, acidity), and ensure product quality.

You will conduct sampling, monitor pasteurization and mixing, maintain GMP/HACCP compliance, and record data in LDMS or SAP.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in a food/drink production environment, a degree in Food Science or related field, and be able to work 3 shifts.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Perform physical and chemical analyses on juice, including Brix (sugar content), pH, titratable acidity, viscosity, color, and flavor.
• Conduct sampling, plating, and data interpretation for ingredients and products to detect microorganisms.
• Monitor pasteurization, homogenization, and ingredient mixing to ensure they meet specifications, including proper sanitation (CIP/COP).
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and FSSC 22000 standards.
• Record data accurately in the Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS) or SAP, and report deviations to management.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment for accurate measurement.

Qualification

• A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Others or similar fields.
• B.Sc. or HND in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Typically 2+ years of experience in a food/drink production environment, with specific experience in juice or dairy being a plus.
• Proficiency in lab equipment, understanding of food safety standards (ISO/GFSI), and basic computer literacy (SAP).
• Ability to work in a 3-shift pattern, handle 8-hour shifts in a manufacturing environment, and manage physical tasks like lifting or standing for long periods.
