Responsible for testing, inspection and verification of raw materials, in-process and finished products and ensures products meet set specifications and standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzes the quality of:
- a. Raw materials for refined /semi refined, gums, diluents and other food ingredients based on quality plan.
- b. Finished products for both WIP, primary and secondary blends based on quality plan and product data sheet.
- c. Wood moisture content of biomass and daily liquor normality.
- d. Chlorinated water and waste water.
Inspects containers used in in-coming and out-going shipment to ensure required condition is maintained.
- Monitors plant compliance with standard specifications for stored and shipped-out products.
- Prepares composite samples and necessary solutions for analysis.
- Conducts regular inspection of the following:
- Daily production process; sanitation and laboratory housekeeping
- Daily verification of metal detector
- Daily equipment verification and calibration
- Personnel Hygiene
- Laboratory equipment (glass, brittle and hard plastic, etc.)
- Monthly inventory for chemicals, glass wares and equipment.
Checks shipment bag labels and pallet labels based on MPSI.
Prepares and dispatch laboratory blends of SRF regular, co-shipment and pre-shipment samples.
Checks shipment bag labels and pallet labels based on MPSI.
Performs other functions that may be assigned by supervisor from time to time or as prescribed by approved policy or guidelines.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Technology, or any science related courses
Work Experience
- At least 6 months work experience in laboratory and analytical works or Fresh Graduate
- Knowledge in a GMP and GLP environment.
