We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fleet Manager to join our team in Naga City, Camarines Sur on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our fleet operations, ensuring optimal efficiency, safety, and compliance across our transportation network. As Fleet Manager, you will play a crucial strategic role in managing vehicle maintenance, driver performance, route optimization, and cost control. This position is essential to our company's success and directly impacts our ability to deliver reliable service to our customers whilst maintaining profitability and operational excellence.
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including vehicle deployment, scheduling, and route planning to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance facilities to ensure all vehicles are in optimal working condition and compliant with safety standards
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate drivers and support staff, ensuring compliance with transport regulations and promoting a culture of safety and professionalism
Track and analyze fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and operational expenses to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve fleet efficiency
Prepare and manage the fleet budget, ensuring expenditures remain within allocated limits whilst maintaining service quality
Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, driver hours, incidents, and compliance documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and safety audits to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations
Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures that promote safety, efficiency, and compliance with local and national transport regulations
Liaise with customers and internal departments to communicate delivery timelines, address concerns, and provide updates on fleet performance
Stay informed of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting fleet management and implement improvements as appropriate
Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably within the distribution, logistics, or transport sector
Proven track record of successfully managing fleet operations, reducing operational costs, and improving efficiency metrics
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the Philippines transport industry
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Proficiency in fleet management software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with drivers, staff, customers, and senior management
Valid driver's license and a strong understanding of road safety principles and best practices
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions in challenging situations
Certification in fleet management or related qualifications is highly desirable
Experience with GPS tracking systems and vehicle telematics is advantageous
