Job summary

Qualifications

• Understanding health and safety regulations in fleet operations.
• Willingness to conduct 50%+ field work nationwide.
• Knowledge of Philippine transport regulations is preferred.

About the role

We are looking for a Fleet Operations Manager to lead and improve our fleet operations. Based in Cebu, this role will oversee fleet activities across different areas nationwide and play an important part in ensuring our vehicles are available, well-maintained, compliant, and cost-efficient.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure fleet availability and reliability to support daily business operations.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, downtime, condition, and replacement needs.
• Plan fleet capacity and requirements based on business growth and operational needs.
• Manage and evaluate repair shops, suppliers, and service providers.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and address recurring vehicle issues to minimize breakdowns.
• Monitor fleet performance, identify opportunities, and implement continuous improvements.
• Ensure compliance with vehicle registration, insurance, permits, safety standards, and company policies.
• Lead and develop the fleet team while managing costs, performance, and operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

Has at least a Bachelor’s degree in:

• Mechanical / Industrial Engineering (preferred), or any Engineering/Transportation/Logistics or Business related courses
• Minimum 1 year supervisory/managerial experience in fleet management or a related operations management role
• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance procedures, vehicle mechanics, and transportation regulations\
• Experience in staff supervision and team management within a logistics or transport environment
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with drivers, maintenance teams, and senior management
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in fleet operations
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in managing operational challenges
• Willing to do 50% or more field work nationwide
• Preferred: Experience in the food manufacturing or logistics industry would be advantageous
• Preferred: Knowledge of Philippine transport regulations and local compliance requirements
