Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking a Business Process Analyst to strengthen finance operations by documenting processes, standardizing procedures, and recommending improvements. The role offers international exposure and a long-term career path within a leading facilities services organization.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce, Technical Writing, Business Analysis, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, shared services, financial reporting, audit, controls, business improvement, business analysis, or process documentation.
• Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, structured, and audience-appropriate documentation
• Working knowledge of finance processes, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, reconciliations, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Proven ability to analyse workflows, identify root causes, and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, compliance, controls, and user experience
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to gather information, facilitate reviews, challenge assumptions, and confirm process accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and process mapping or documentation tools such as Microsoft Visio
• Previous exposure to finance process documentation, continuous improvement, audit, controls, or finance transformation is desirable
• Sound understanding of documentation governance, process maps, standard operating procedures, RACI matrices, controls, and improvement registers is advantageous
• Big Four experience is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain finance process documentation, including procedures, work instructions, process maps, control narratives, and user guides.
• Focus initially on order-to-cash processes and the parking revenue cycle.
• Collaborate with finance subject matter experts to capture and validate process steps, roles, systems, controls, risks, handoffs, exceptions, and escalation pathways.
• Analyse finance processes to identify gaps, duplication, manual effort, bottlenecks, control weaknesses, and opportunities for simplification, standardisation, or automation.
• Generate evidence-based process improvement recommendations outlining proposed actions, expected benefits, implementation considerations, and stakeholder impacts.
• Prepare process flows, gap analyses, improvement registers, procedure updates, and change-support materials for review and approval.
• Maintain documentation standards, version control, review cycles, approval workflows, and repository requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs to validate process accuracy and obtain stakeholder approval.
• Other Duties: Maintain effective working relationships, comply with safety policies, support equal opportunity, participate in training, learn new technologies, perform other duties as assigned.
