Job summary

RCI Group seeks an experienced financial controller to own the general ledger across multiple entities, oversee statutory reporting, and manage all tax compliance. You will lead a team of about five qualified accountants and coordinate with regulators such as BIR and SEC.

You will drive consolidation, ensure accurate financial statements, maintain tight controls, and partner with external auditors to defend and complete filings on time.

Qualifications

• CPA is required with no substitutions.
• At least eight years in general ledger, statutory reporting, and tax compliance.
• Experience with multi-entity close and consolidation.
• Hands-on BIR/ VAT / income tax experience and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger across all entities; run monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Own account reconciliations and balance sheet integrity; eliminate ageing reconciling items.
• Maintain chart of accounts and enforce consistent application across entities.
• Manage intercompany accounting and ensure balances agree before consolidation.
• Apply PFRS across revenue models; escalate judgments early.
• Prepare group consolidation including eliminations and minority interests with complete packs for review.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and notes; act as primary contact to external auditors.
• Own the compliance calendar for all entities; review and file returns with documented trails.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of about five qualified accountants.
