Job summary

STARLIGHT Business Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to oversee multi-entity finance and accounting operations in a hybrid work setup. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and timely analysis across the group.

The role requires analytical leadership, collaboration with senior management, and hands-on oversight of GL, consolidation, audits, and statutory reporting, with opportunities to drive process improvements and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license is highly preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably with experience handling multiple entities.
• Experience in leadership roles such as Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Finance Manager, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls.
• Experience in consolidated financial reporting is an advantage.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with senior management.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations across multiple companies.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and other accounting functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
• Develop and maintain internal accounting and financial control procedures.
• Review records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and policies.
• Lead the consolidation and analysis of financial information across group companies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, banks, and financial institutions when necessary.
• Provide financial analysis, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management.
• Identify financial risks, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to accounting and finance personnel.
• Assist senior management in financial planning, budgeting, business evaluation, and strategic decision-making; ensure compliance with financial, tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
