Job summary

Sika in the Philippines is seeking a field-focused engineer/sales professional to promote Sika products and services, develop strong customer relationships, and provide on-site technical support for distributors and end users. The role covers site and office-based engagement to meet set targets and expand opportunities.

You will utilize technical literature, conduct seminars, and deliver presentations while upholding Sika brand values.

Qualifications

• Must have a civil or mining engineering degree.
• 3–5 years of construction or related industry experience.
• Experience in a multinational company is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Promote products, services and systems.
• Develop customer relationships and service on-site and in office to maintain customer base.
• Provide technical information and on-site technical support for distributors and end users.
• Actively seek and develop new opportunities based on site conditions and customer challenges with prompt follow-up.
• Meet targets on initiatives as agreed with management.
• Utilize equipment, literature and sales aids for seminars, presentations and meetings to maximize exposure.
• Uphold the Sika brand values and support brand awareness initiatives.
• Undertake day-to-day activities in a cost-effective manner.
• Resolve customer complaints to maintain relationships and minimize risk to the company.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on developments to enhance account management.
• Stay informed on industry developments and new products; monitor competitor activity.
• Maintain professional account and territory management practices, including monthly reports, calibration schedules, customer details, project lists, and customer business plans.
