Job description
A Recruiting Associate plays a critical role in the recruitment process, acting as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers. Key responsibilities include:
Candidate Sourcing: Identifying potential candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events
Screening and Interviews: Reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone or video interviews, and assessing candidate fit for roles and company culture
Interview Coordination: Scheduling and managing interviews between candidates and hiring managers, including in-person and virtual sessions
Recruitment Support: Assisting recruiters with administrative tasks such as updating applicant tracking systems (ATS), drafting offer letters, and preparing interview materials
Onboarding Assistance: Supporting new hire onboarding by preparing materials and scheduling orientation sessions
Candidate Experience: Coordinating travel, accommodations, and multi-day visits for candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience
Successful Recruiting Associates typically possess:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields; advanced degrees can be advantageous
Technical Skills: Proficiency with ATS/CRM systems (e.g., Workday, Lever, LinkedIn Recruiter), Microsoft Office, and other recruitment tools
Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills; ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Experience: Prior experience in recruitment, HR, or administrative roles is preferred, with some positions requiring 0–3 years of experience for entry-level roles and more for senior positions
