Job summary

BPI Direct Banko, Inc. a savings bank, is seeking a Loan Associate to support loan origination targets and maintain loan portfolio quality. The role emphasizes field-based client acquisition and thorough documentation in collaboration with the Financial Inclusion and Microfinance Solutions Group.

The incumbent will identify and service loan accounts, implement marketing strategies, assess funding structures, and monitor accounts to ensure portfolio health while building strong community networks.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a 4-year degree course in business-related disciplines (Finance/Management/Economics).
• Previous sales experience is preferred but fresh graduates with strong sales acumen are welcome.
• Familiarity with the branch community, markets, and local networks.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, solicits and maintains desirable loan accounts in the assigned area of responsibility.
• Implements identified marketing strategies geared towards the achievement of loan origination target.
• Gathers, assesses and validates loan documentary requirements and salient business information for credit evaluation/review and decision.
• Assesses funding structures and utilization suitable to clients' needs.
• Implements proactive account monitoring and servicing to maintain portfolio quality.
• Provides inputs for improvements to lending policies and guidelines.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervising Business Manager.
