Job summary

BPI Direct Banko, Inc. A Savings Bank is seeking a Loan Associate to drive loan origination targets and maintain a high-quality loan portfolio through proactive relationship management.

The role involves identifying and soliciting loan accounts in the branch vicinity, gathering and validating documentation, proposing suitable funding structures, and performing servicing tasks to ensure credit quality. Field work is required (about 95%).

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year degree course, preferably in business-related disciplines (Finance / Management / Economics, etc.).
• Previous sales experience is preferred; fresh graduates with good sales acumen are welcome.
• Familiarity with the branch community, main markets, target segments, and local networks.
• Willing to do field work (95% of the time).

Responsibilities

• Identifies, solicits and maintains desirable loan accounts in the assigned area.
• Implements marketing strategies geared towards achieving loan origination targets.
• Gathers, assesses and validates loan documentary requirements and salient business information for credit evaluation/review.
• Assesses funding structures suitable to the client’s needs.
• Implements proactive account monitoring and servicing to maintain loan portfolio quality.
• Provides inputs for improving lending policies and guidelines.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervising Business Manager.
