Job summary

BPI DIRECT BANKO,INC. A SAVINGS BANK is seeking a Loan Associate to drive loan origination and maintain loan portfolio quality.

The role entails relationship management and account servicing to support ongoing credit health and client satisfaction. The candidate will solicit and maintain loan accounts within the branch area, implement marketing strategies, verify loan documents, assess funding structures, and participate in policy improvements under the Financial Inclusion and Microfinance

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year degree course, preferably in business-related disciplines (Finance / Management/ Economics, etc.).
• Previous sales experience is needed but also open to fresh graduates with good sales acumen.
• Familiarity with the community of the branch (main markets, target segment, local network and connections, etc.).
• Willing to do field work (95% of the time).

Responsibilities

• Identifies, solicits and maintains desirable loan accounts in the assigned area of responsibility.
• Implements identified marketing strategies geared towards the achievement of loan origination target.
• Gathers, assesses and validates loan documentary requirements and salient business information on a first hand/personalized basis both on operational and financial aspects necessary as basis for credit evaluation/review and decision.
• Assesses the most appropriate funding structure and utilization suitable to the clients based on the business’ present needs.
• Implements pro-active account monitoring and servicing activities to help ensure maintenance of good loan portfolio quality.
• Provides inputs for the improvement of existing policies and guidelines of the lending operation
• Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the supervising Business Manager of the Financial Inclusion and Microfinance Solutions Group.
