Job summary

SUMISHO MOTOR FINANCE CORPORATION is seeking a Field Collections specialist to visit customers in person, collect payments, issue receipts, and update contact information. You will support debt resolution, secure required letters, and remit funds by the daily deadline.

The role involves fieldwork, reporting to Pili, Camarines Sur, and requiring a valid motorcycle license. Experience in credit verification/field collection is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least College level, 2year Vocational Course or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
• Required Skill(s): Motorcycle driving.
• Must have proven skills in negotiation and motorcycle repossession.
• With 6 months to 1 years of experience as Credit Verifier and/or Field Collector.
• Must be willing to do field work.
• Amenable to report in Pili, Camarines Sur Branch.
• Must have Non-Professional Driver's License and Motorcycle Unit.
• Preferably residing in any nearby areas of Camarines Sur.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned list of customers and collect debt payments.
• Issue receipts on payments and remit to authorized channels.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns and queries.
• Secure Promise to Pay Letter and related documents when payment isn't possible.
• Update customer contact information.
• Remit all collections after 3:00 PM and secure deposit slip copies.
• Counsel customers on account management.
• File complaints and attend mediations as needed.
• Pull-out and inspect motorbikes from delinquent customers as directed.

Job Description

Field Collections

• a. Visit assigned list of customers indicated in the FS (Field Specialist’s) daily itinerary and collect debt payment.
• b. Issue receipts on payment received and remit them to authorized payment channels.
• c. Assist in the resolution of customer’s concerns and queries.
• d. Secure Promise to Pay Letter, Voluntary Surrender Letter if applicable, for those who are not able to pay.
• e. Update new customer contact information.
• f. Remit all collection received after 3:00 PM to Sumisho’s account and secure duplicate copy of the deposit slip with machine validation.
• g. Counsel customers on managing the account.
• h. Filing complaints and attend mediations if needed.

Demand Letter Issuance

• a. Issue demand letter to customers who cannot be reached or contacted or those who are always out of the house.

Repossession

• a. Pull-out and inspect actual motorcycle from delinquent customers who are unable to pay on the prescribed limits by the BCTL (Branch Collections Team Lead), FS (Field Specialist) Manager and Asset Control.
• b. Perform other related functions that may be assigned by the BCTL (Branch Collections Team Lead)
