Job summary

New World Makati Hotel is seeking an experienced Event Manager to develop potential clients through research, telemarketing and sales calls, and to manage banquet facilities and F&B packages to generate leads and meet revenue targets in a dynamic hotel setting in Makati, Philippines.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of event management experience, strong client relationships, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and a collaborative, personable, and fast-working style

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as Event Manager.
• Experience selling banquet facilities and F&B packages.
• Strong client relationships and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop potential clients through research, telemarketing and sales calls.
• Manage banquet facilities and F&B packages to generate leads and meet revenue budgets and goals.
• Follow up leads and proposals, conduct site inspections and food tastings as needed.
• Execute the marketing plan and programs as detailed in company plans.

Job description

The Event Manager is responsible for developing potential clients through research, telemarketing and/or sales calls and manage existing customers for banquet facilities through periodic sales calls, entertainment and corporate and/or social events. He/she should be able to sell banquet facilities and F&B packages to generate leads and meet revenue budget and goals.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as Event Manager. He/she should be able to build strong client relationship and with good interpersonal skill. He/she should be collaborative, personable, organized and is a fast worker.

The Event Manager will follow up leads and submitted proposals and conduct site inspections and food tastings, when necessary, in order to confirm business leads. He/she should execute the plans and programs detailed in the marketing plan.
