Job summary

New World Makati Hotel is seeking an experienced Event Manager to develop potential clients through research, telemarketing and sales calls, and to manage existing corporate and social banquet clients to meet revenue budgets.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in event management, excels in building strong client relationships, is highly organized and collaborative, and can coordinate site inspections, food tastings, and F&B package proposals with the Sales & Marketing team.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience as Event Manager.
• Strong client relationships and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and conduct site inspections.

Responsibilities

• Develop potential clients through research, telemarketing and sales calls.
• Manage existing customers for banquet facilities through periodic sales calls, entertainment and corporate and/or social events.
• Sell banquet facilities and F&B packages to generate leads and meet revenue budgets.
• Follow up leads and submitted proposals and conduct site inspections and tastings as needed.
• Execute plans detailed in the marketing plan and collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team.
