Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Tourism, or related field
• Experience in banquet sales, event coordination, or hospitality industry is preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and email correspondence
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Professional appearance and pleasing personality
• Willing to work flexible schedules, weekends, and holidays depending on event requirements

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell hotel event venues, banquet facilities, catering services, and accommodation packages
• Handle inquiries and bookings for weddings, birthdays, meetings, conferences, seminars, and other social or corporate events
• Conduct sales calls, presentations, and site inspections for prospective clients
• Prepare event proposals, quotations, contracts, and banquet event orders
• Coordinate event requirements and schedules with Operations, Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, event organizers, suppliers, and travel agencies
• Assist clients throughout the planning process and ensure smooth event execution
• Monitor event schedules, payments, contracts, and guest requirements
• Attend networking events, trade fairs, and promotional activities to generate leads and increase bookings
• Prepare sales reports, event forecasts, and client account updates
• Address client concerns and provide immediate solutions during events
• Ensure achievement of monthly banquet and events sales targets
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of event and sales records
