Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a strategic Manager, Workforce Optimization to lead the Resource Optimization Center and centralized scheduling across a global captive center.

You will drive labor utilization, capacity planning, and workforce forecasting while partnering with clinical, operational, HR, and finance leaders to improve performance and service delivery in a flexible hybrid/work model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in workforce management, staffing operations, scheduling operations, healthcare operations, BPO, GBS, or shared services environments.
• 7+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing operational teams.
• RN license or UKG certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for ROC and centralized scheduling operations within a global captive center environment.
• Ensure scheduling support services across departments and operational areas.
• Establish performance standards and service expectations aligned with organizational goals.
• Monitor daily operations for productivity, quality, service levels, and consistency.
• Lead and develop experts, schedulers, and operational staff.
• Develop workforce optimization strategies to maximize labor utilization and scheduling efficiency.
• Oversee staffing allocations, scheduling workflows, capacity planning, and resource balancing.
• Partner with leaders on staffing models, forecasting, and labor management.
