Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in the Philippines seeks a Centralized Scheduling Timekeeper Expert to provide scheduling subject matter expertise, onboarding support, and to help forecast staffing needs.

The role emphasizes developing training materials, managing timecard accuracy, and collaborating with department leaders to ensure optimal coverage while aligning with pay practices and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, data management, or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience with staffing, workforce scheduling software is required; healthcare setting preferred.
• UKG certification is preferred on hire or within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for scheduler/timekeeper coordinators, offering onboarding, development and mentoring support.
• Act as an escalation point for complex questions and issues with internal teams and department leadership.
• Develop training and onboarding materials and internal SOP/workflow documentation.
• Create and edit schedules for ROC-supported departments in the scheduling system per hospital policies.
• Collaborate with department managers to prepare accurate daily/weekly shift schedules reflecting forecasted staffing needs.
• Review and approve/deny schedule change requests based on guidelines and communicate outcomes to leaders.
