Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in the Philippines seeks a Centralized Scheduling Timekeeper Coordinator to proactively develop and optimize schedules for designated departments. The role ensures timecard accuracy and applies pay practices in a busy healthcare environment.

You will partner with department managers to forecast staffing needs, manage self-scheduling, and create schedules that minimize gaps while maintaining efficiency and coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Management, or Related Field is required.
• 1+ year experience with staffing, workforce and scheduling software is required; healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit schedules for ROC supported departments in the electronic scheduling system.
• Collaborate with department managers to prepare accurate daily, weekly, and shift schedules.
• Review, approve or deny schedule requests (PTO, changes, preferences) based on needs.
• Balance and publish schedules after self-scheduling periods.
• Assign specialty roles based on unit requirements and skill mix.
• Determine vacancy rates and post incentive shifts to address gaps.
• Maintain department schedules and open shift needs for recruitment.
• Prepare staffing and scheduling reports for leaders.
• Review and maintain timecards for accuracy and prepare for payroll.
