Job summary

Princess Cruises is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie for the MMC in Magsaysay, Philippines. You will produce at a galley station, follow recipes, and support the Sous Chef with daily production while upholding USPH standards.

The role requires formal culinary qualifications with high-volume kitchen experience and strong English communication. Onboard travel benefits and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Culinary Arts from a recognized training institution.
• Minimum of four years in high-volume culinary production, with at least one year as Demi Chef de Partie.
• Strong knowledge of Western cuisines and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to train and motivate junior cooks and Commis Chefs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare culinary production in the assigned station per recipes and directions.
• Adhere to daily production schedule and maintain recipe files.
• Coach subordinates on menu knowledge, techniques, and presentation.
• Train staff and ensure compliance with safety and USPH regulations.
• Assist in on-the-job training and monitor waste reduction.
• Support new-to-vessel galley staff and maintain equipment and ingredients.
