Job summary

Princess Cruises is seeking a 2nd Commis Chef MMC for a fixed term contract in Magsaysay, Philippines. You will work in the galley under the Chef De Partie, following company recipes and maintaining kitchen standards.

Key duties include receiving and storing provisions, producing dishes, and delivering prepared items to outlets aboard. The role requires at least 1 year in a culinary role and good English communication.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a culinary environment as Assistant Cook or similar.
• Culinary education preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
• Basic knowledge of Public Health and Sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Good English language skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a large multinational environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect provision orders and store properly.
• Produce according to company recipes and specifications under supervision.
• Seek guidance from Sous Chef / Chef de Partie when executing production.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Galley and equipment.
• Deliver prepared food items to outlets aboard in a timely manner.
• Provide general assistance to the Sous Chef / Chef De Partie.
