Job summary

You’ll organize compliance files in SharePoint, manage expirations, and support audits. Collaborate with Logistics, Sales, and international vendors while maintaining orderly records and supporting sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Administrative experience in logistics, operations, or regulatory work is a plus.
• Core skills include exceptional attention to detail, strong organization, and professional communication (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Import Clearance & Verification: Review shipping manifests and vendor documents to ensure all incoming cargo meets regulatory standards (FDA, HACCP, FSMA).
• Document Management: Keep vendor records, certifications, and compliance files organized in SharePoint; track expiration dates to trigger renewals.
• Audit Support: Maintain complete, up-to-date compliance records for audits.
• Sales & Client Support: Address customer compliance inquiries and handle documentation requests from Sales.
• Project & Task Tracking: Manage compliance tasks and sustainability workflows in Asana; assist Executive Management with admin tasks.

Job Overview:

The Customs Compliance Coordinator keeps import operations running smoothly by managing shipping paperwork, tracking regulatory requirements, and ensuring all incoming cargo meets standards. You will work closely with Logistics, Sales, and international vendors while keeping file systems organized and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Import Clearance & Verification: Review shipping manifests and vendor documents to ensure all incoming cargo meets regulatory standards (including FDA, HACCP, and FSMA).
• Document Management: Keep vendor records, certifications, and compliance files organized in SharePoint; track expiration dates to trigger timely renewals.
• Audit Support: Maintain complete, up-to-date compliance records to ensure constant readiness for internal and external audits.
• Sales & Client Support: Answer customer compliance inquiries and handle documentation requests forwarded by the Sales team.
• Project & Task Tracking: Manage compliance tasks and sustainability workflows in Asana; assist Executive Management with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education & Experience: Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred. Administrative experience in logistics, operations, or regulatory work is a plus.
• Core Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organization, and professional communication (written and verbal).
• Tech & Software: Proficient with Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Excel, Word), digital file systems, and Asana. Comfort using AI tools responsibly to streamline tasks is a plus.
• Mindset: Quick learner willing to master complex regulatory frameworks through ongoing training.
