Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Compliance Specialist to support administrative, operational, and regulatory workflows across our logistics and sales divisions. In this role, you will oversee import compliance documentation for incoming container shipments, maintain structured regulatory records, and resolve client compliance inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Import Verification & Operations: Review container manifests and cargo details to determine regulatory requirements; coordinate with logistics teams and international suppliers to secure and verify import clearance documentation.
Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Build domain knowledge in FDA standards, HACCP protocols, and FSMA traceability regulations to assess vendor documentation accuracy.
Document Management & Audit Readiness: Maintain organized vendor compliance repositories in SharePoint, monitor expiration dates for facility certifications and HACCP letters, and support audit preparation.
Cross-Departmental & Client Support: Address customer compliance requests for the sales team and track compliance and sustainability tasks using Asana.
Workflow Optimization: Utilize modern office software, digital file management systems, and safe AI tools to streamline administrative operations.
Qualifications & Competencies
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields; administrative background in supply chain or regulatory operations is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Excel, Word), project management platforms like Asana, and digital file structures.
Core Competencies: Strong organizational abilities, high attention to detail, excellent professional communication skills, and an eagerness to learn complex regulatory frameworks.
