Job summary
Southern Arms Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a Compensation and Benefits specialist to lead the design and management of compensation structures and employee benefits within our ICT consulting environment.
The role sits in a full-time capacity within the HR function, focusing on attracting, retaining and engaging our workforce while ensuring compliance with Philippine labour laws and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance or related field
- 3–5 years of professional experience in compensation and benefits or related HR
- Strong knowledge of compensation methodologies and job evaluation
- Experience with market benchmarking and salary surveys
- Proficiency with HRIS and compensation planning software
- Solid understanding of Philippine labour laws and regulatory compliance
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive compensation information
Responsibilities
- Develop compensation structures and benefits programmes that attract and retain talent
- Conduct market research and salary benchmarking to stay competitive
- Design and implement health insurance, retirement plans and other benefits
- Manage end-to-end compensation and benefits administration including payroll
- Analyze data and advise senior management on pay equity and cost optimization
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and best practices in compensation
- Create clear communication materials to explain compensation to staff
- Collaborate with finance and payroll to ensure timely payments
- Stay current with industry trends in technology consulting
