Job summary

Culinary Adventures, Inc. is seeking an HR Officer to plan and coordinate compensation plans and benefit packages. You will work with the HR department to review policies and ensure compliance with current laws, while using data-based methods for compensation decisions.

The role requires 2–3 years in compensation/benefits, CHRA certification, and hands-on experience with Sprout Payroll/HRIS, with strong Excel skills and confidentiality. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or psychology is required.
• CHRA certification is required or highly preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, or HR administration.

Responsibilities

• Define fair, equitable total compensation and benefits packages.
• Ensure compensation practices comply with Philippine labor laws.
• Review and update policies and procedures on compensation and benefits.
• Use data-driven methods for direct/indirect and non-financial compensation decisions.
• Conduct salary and labor market surveys to benchmark pay and benefits.
• Maintain HRIS and payroll data, and prepare HR reports and trends.
• Facilitate filing employee benefit forms (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

Under the general guidance and supervision of the HR Supervisor and within the limits of established policies and procedures and the service skills manual of Culinary Adventures Inc., plan and coordinate a company's compensation plans and benefit packages. Work closely with a company's human resources department, review and update existing benefits and compensation-related policies, and ensure these comply with current legislation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow Culinary Adventures, Inc. Policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Define fair, equitable, competitive total compensation and benefits package.
• Ensure that compensation practices comply with current legislation.
• Use various methods and techniques and make data-based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial, and nonfinancial compensations.
• Assess employees' needs by conducting organizational psychology surveys to determine what motivates and engages employees.
• Participate in salary and labor market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits.
• Conduct periodic audits and prepare HR reports, data summaries, and trends.
• Maintain computer software and update the HR database containing organizational chart, job descriptions, job grade, salary level, employee benefits package, Code of Conduct, and HR policies and procedures manual.
• Facilitate filing employee benefit forms for sick leave, maternity leave, SSS, Pag-big, and PhilHealth.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, BA/BS Psychology
• Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA)
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, or HR Administration.
• Hands-on experience with Sprout Payroll/HRIS is highly preferred and will be given priority.
• Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory benefits, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll and employee records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
• Willing to work on-site and coordinate with different departments as needed.
