Job summary

Alibaba Cloud in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned business development leader to own revenue and customer experience for enterprise cloud solutions. You will identify target accounts, build a robust pipeline, and lead high-impact client meetings to promote Alibaba Cloud services.

You will negotiate deals, advocate for customer needs, and collaborate with the Architect team to tailor offerings in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business development, sales, or related field in tech/cloud in the Philippines.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
• Experience prospecting and building connections with new target accounts.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
• Understanding of Cloud and Hybrid Cloud tech (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, Alibaba Cloud, VMware).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business owner to drive revenue and customer experience for Alibaba Cloud.
• Identify and qualify potential clients in various industries.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline for consistent growth.
• Lead client meetings and presentations to promote Alibaba Cloud services and solutions.
• Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets.
• Advocate for customer requirements within Alibaba Cloud.
• Represent Alibaba Cloud well within customers' environment.
• Collaborate with Architect team to tailor offerings and improve IT efficiency.
• Drive issue escalation with Alibaba Cloud Service teams.
• Periodic reviews of operational performance to customer leadership for Key Accounts.
