Job summary

Swissôtel Clark in Clark Freeport Zone, Central Luzon, is seeking a Chief Baker to oversee bakery operations, ensuring high-quality breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods. You will lead the bakery team, maintain safety and quality standards, manage inventory and schedules, and develop new products to meet guest and business needs.

The role requires 3+ years in a similar capacity, English proficiency, and preferably culinary school certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a bakery/catering role.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bakery operations and ensure production of breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods.
• Lead the bakery team and maintain food safety and quality standards.

Knowledge and Experience

• Secondary / High school education
• Additional certification(s) from a reputable culinary school will be an advantage
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
