Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of carrier sales, dispatching, or freight brokerage experience.
• Proven ability to source capacity and cover freight in high-volume environments.
• Experience with DAT and Truckstop load boards and TMS systems.
• Strong negotiation and outbound communication skills.
• Ability to handle fast-paced logistics priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Source and secure truck capacity for customer freight.
• Post loads on load boards like DAT and others.
• Negotiate spot and contract rates to improve profitability.
• Develop relationships with North American carriers and owner-operators.
• Assist with carrier qualification, compliance, onboarding.
• Monitor market conditions and adjust procurement strategies.
• Track and trace shipments from pickup to delivery and resolve disruptions.
