Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1–3 years of experience in transport planning, dispatching, trucking coordination, or related logistics functions.
• Experience in FMCG, retail distribution, or 3PL operations is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of transport operations, routing, and logistics processes.
• Proficient in MS Excel, TMS/WMS systems, or fleet management tools.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, especially under time pressure.
• Attention to detail and high sense of urgency.
• Ability to multitask and manage dynamic schedules.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Receive trip details from planner
• Relay needed trip changes to planners when advised by customer
• Monitor Digihaul transactions (from pick up to delivery) or the equivalent system
• Create regional distributor (RD) capacity and delivery requirements
• Send initial and final plans to source plant/distribution center
• Coordinate directly with trucking owners/coordinators for fleet allocation
• Collect data and provide daily/weekly reports such as Truck Status Report, DDM, and Dwell time Report
• Tag lock‑in trips in TMS
• Perform other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor related to functions
• Monitor fleet utilization and resource assessment
• Plan and control deliveries in a continuous process
• Monitor all shipments and trip executions
• Ensure that all trucks arriving on site have corresponding trips
• Ensure compliance to daily load‑out plan and provide RCA reports regarding misses
• Ensure that all packed shipments have corresponding assigned trucks
• Monitor truck dwell time at source plant
• Monitor truck arrival at source via GPS (TM Suite), Digihaul (CMS), call and text
• Monitor CICO of all trucks at source
• Check on‑site trucks and update running and DMS file
• Check loaded status in S4hana if already invoiced
• Receive calls from internal and external customers
• Manage exception codes on trip level, both in identification and uploading
• Execute approved business‑continuity plans in case of any disaster situation, system issues, or as needed
• Execute transport cost‑saving initiatives
• Maintain and promote good relationships between internal and external parties
• Log all delivery issues and concerns through CSS system
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and consignees regarding concerns and questions (e.g., trip details, claims, loading exceptions, vehicle rejection)
• Receive calls, handle client concerns, and direct problems to suitable parties
• Expedite concern resolutions (returns, damages, etc.) from customers
• Coordinate directly with trucking owners/coordinators for tracking deliveries
• Ensure operation targets are met and delivery orders are actioned on time, following SLA; if deviations occur, propose acceptable shipment schedule dates agreed with customer
• Enter trip data into the Digihaul system
• Monitor and track shipments within the Digihaul system
• Conduct health checks for data accuracy
