Job summary

Firefly Electric and Lighting Corporation (FELCO) is seeking a Business Development Specialist to identify opportunities for growth and optimize marketing strategies across nationwide markets. You will generate leads, support bids, and collaborate with field sales to secure contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field is required or preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical, architectural, or construction-related industries is a plus.
• Driver’s license is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify growth opportunities for the Professional Division and optimize marketing strategies.
• Generate leads from consultants and participate in bids ensuring company and product qualifications are met.
• Collaborate with field sales to join, negotiate, and close bids and provide bid-related support.
• Explore new opportunities and segments for the division (HVAC, Solar EPC, Institutional Coop, food chains, manufacturing).
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and designers through targeted outreach and industry associations.

About The Role

• Location: Nationwide

• Reporting to: Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Specialist you are responsible for identifying opportunities for business growth and optimizing marketing strategies.

Other responsibilities

• Generating leads from new and existing lighting and electrical consultants and participates in bids by ensuring company and product qualifications are met
• Working closely with field sales teams to join, negotiate, and close bids and provides direct support in bid-related activities
• Identifying and exploring new opportunities and segments for the Professional Division, such as HVAC, Solar EPC, Institutional Coop, food chains, manufacturing/infrastructure
• Establishing relationships with Key Decision Makers and designers through targeted support, engagement with industry associations like the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers and United Architects of the Philippines
• Initiating and leading FELCO solutions presentations and tours for Developers, Contractors, and Designers and collaborates with field sales and product development teams to bridge the gap in product qualifications required to join bids and offer unique products

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in any Field, preferably an engineering / architectural course.
• At least 2 years of work experience; background in electrical or architectural and construction industries is an advantage.
• Must have a driver’s license
• Competency in negotiating and closing business deals
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Effective communication / presentation skills
