Firefly Electric and Lighting Corporation is hiring a Technical Service Engineer - EML / Lighting in Ermita, Manila. This onsite, full-time role reports to the Product Technical Manager and drives research, testing, evaluation and development for EML and lighting products.

You will lead product testing/evaluation, create manuals, manage testing equipment, and pursue process improvements while handling customer complaints and maintaining thorough records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or ECE.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
• Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer.
• Willingness to work in Ermita, Manila.
• Experience with EML is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee research, design, testing, evaluation and development of EML (Emergency Lighting) and Lighting products.
• Manage Product Testing, Evaluation, Research and Development activities.
• Generate and review product manuals and packaging.
• Regulate test equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Initiate and plan process improvements.
• Conduct documentation (SOPs/WIs) and ensure laboratory safety.
• Handle customer complaints and provide timely solutions and follow-ups.
• Maintain records of customer interactions and account/file documents.

About The Role

Location: Ermita, Manila

Role Type: Full-time (Onsite)

Department: Technical Services

Reporting to: Product Technical Manager

As a Technical Service Engineer - EML / Lighting, you will be responsible for the overall operation involving research, design, testing, evaluation, and development of all EML (Emergency Lighting) and Lighting products under FELCO.

Other responsibilities include:

• Managing the Product Testing, Product Evaluation, Product Research and Product Development
• Being involved in Product Manual Generation and Packaging Reviews
• Regulating Test Equipment Management (Maintenance and Calibration) and Enhancement
• Initiating and planning Process Improvements
• Conducting Document Management (SOP’s/WI’s)
• Ensuring Laboratory Safety and Cleanliness
• Providing accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
• Handling customer complaints, and providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and also doing follow-ups to ensure resolution.
• Keeping records of customer interactions and processing customer accounts and file documents.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or ECE
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar role
• Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer
• Excellent product and market knowledge on electrical and lighting devices
• Preferably with experience in EML
• Must be willing to work in Ermita, Manila
