Firefly Electric and Lighting Corporation seeks a Technical Service Engineer - EML / Lighting to oversee R&D, testing, and development of EML and lighting products. This onsite role in Ermita, Manila reports to the Product Technical Manager within Technical Services.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or ECE and a valid Electrical Engineer license, with at least one year in a similar role.

Formación

• Licensed Electrical Engineer.
• Experience in similar role (EML/lighting) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and lighting devices.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Product Testing, Evaluation, Research and Development.
• Support Product Manual Generation and Packaging Reviews.
• Oversee Test Equipment Maintenance and Calibration.
• Plan Process Improvements and maintain SOPs/WIs.
• Ensure lab safety and clean workspace.
• Handle customer complaints and provide timely resolutions.
• Maintain thorough records of customer interactions and documents.

About the Role

Location: Ermita, Manila

Role Type: Full-time (Onsite)

Department: Technical Services

Reporting to: Product Technical Manager

As a Technical Service Engineer - EML / Lighting, you will be responsible for the overall operation involving research, design, testing, evaluation, and development of all EML (Emergency Lighting) and Lighting products under FELCO.

Other responsibilities include:

• Managing the Product Testing, Product Evaluation, Product Research and Product Development
• Being involved in Product Manual Generation and Packaging Reviews
• Regulating Test Equipment Management (Maintenance and Calibration) and Enhancement
• Initiating and planning Process Improvements
• Conducting Document Management (SOP's/WI's)
• Ensuring Laboratory Safety and Cleanliness
• Providing accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
• Handling customer complaints, and providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and also doing follow-ups to ensure resolution.
• Keeping records of customer interactions and processing customer accounts and file documents.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or ECE
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar role
• Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer
• Excellent product and market knowledge on electrical and lighting devices
• Preferably with experience in EML
• Must be willing to work in Ermita, Manila
