Job summary

Potato Corner is seeking a Business Development Officer to identify, research, analyze, and negotiate lease contracts for retail sites to support brand expansion in designated areas. You will screen candidates based on land leases, owner interest, and zoning or land use regulations, and you may need fieldwork across the assigned location.

The role requires basic real estate experience, strong MS Office skills, attention to detail, independence, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Basic experience in real estate site assessment, acquisition, lease contracts, and negotiation.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel for fieldwork and manage a designated area.
• Driver’s license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Job description

Business Development Officer is responsible foridentifying, researching, analyzing, and negotiating lease contracts for, and zoning wireless telecommunications sites. Identify candidates for specific land leases-based customer criteria, owner interest, and jurisdictional Zoning and/or Land Use regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct strategic market scanning and identify high-potential retail trade areas aligned with the brand’s expansion strategy; provide qualified site leads to the Business Development – Real Estate team.
• Support the regular review and update of the country development plan by incorporating market trends, competitor activities, and brand growth priorities.
• Prepare detailed location-specific feasibility studies including market demand, customer profile, cannibalization risks, and projected financial performance.
• Analyze sales and operational performance of newly opened and existing stores to generate post-opening reports and actionable insights for site optimization.
• Develop and deliver compelling business cases and presentations for internal decision-makers, potential partners, and high-profile stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and evaluate new business partnership opportunities (e.g., developers, landlords, institutions) that support strategic expansion and brand visibility.

Work Experience Requirement:

• With basic experience in Real Estate – site assessment, site acquisition, contracts of lease, and negotiation.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office, particularly Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Can work independently.
• Willing to go on fieldwork.
