Drake Business Services Asia (Philippines), Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth by identifying and pursuing new customers across target markets.

You will develop and execute sales strategies, build a robust pipeline, present to clients, negotiate agreements, and convert opportunities into long-term relationships. The role collaborates with operations and service teams to ensure customer requirements are met while achieving revenue, profitability, and market expansion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing/management or related field; or significant experience in a similar role in consulting/BPO.
• 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in the BPO industry.
• Experience in account management, client retention, upselling and cross-selling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong research skills.
• Critical and analytical thinking abilities.
• Agility and adaptability to business changes; attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

About the role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying, pursuing, and acquiring new customers across target markets. This role develops and executes sales strategies, builds a strong pipeline of qualified prospects, conducts client presentations, negotiates commercial agreements, and converts opportunities into long-to-term business relationships. The position works closely with operations and service teams to ensure customer requirements are met while achieving revenue, profitability, and market expansion objectives.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing/management/or in a relevant field and/or significant experience working in a similar role in consulting industry.


• At least five (5) years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the Business Process Outsourcing industry


• Experience in account management, client retention, upselling, and cross-selling within existing client portfolios.


• Excellent communication (written and oral), and negotiation skills.


• Strong research skills.


• Critical and analytical thinking skills.


• Agility and adaptiveness to business changes. Attention to detail.


• Skill in prioritizing obligations.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

Working Conditions:

• Onsite for the first three (3) months; hybrid work arrangement thereafter


• Day Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
